Prior to joining LegalLink, Lawyer Chien served at a Korean law firm in Vietnam (one of the top 7 law firms in Korea), specializing in investment and corporate advisory. He also worked as a collaborator for the Legal Department of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

Since joining LegalLink, he has been a key member responsible for the international client portfolio of the firm. He has represented clients and successfully resolved high-value business, commercial, and construction disputes in arbitration and court. Furthermore, he has participated in defending and protecting foreign individuals and entities in major criminal cases in Vietnam.

His notable cases include resolving construction disputes related to a skyscraper in Vietnam; representing clients in commercial disputes between suppliers of Amazon Robotics; defending U.S. investors involved in a Vietnamese hydropower plant; and participating in the defense a major criminal cases involving the Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC), Cuu Long Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, among others.
